Named after the bird that graces the cover of Watergate's latest mix CD the, 'Peacock EP' contains all the exclusive tracks from the mix compiled and blended together by club resident Lee Jones. the A-side is handled by Matthias Meyer and Lee, who team up for a peak-time killer laden with warm chords. This one has already proved itself on Watergate's main floor by getting butts shaking on multiple occasions. 'Kreuzberg 61', musically is clearly inspired by Lee's experiences in Watergate and his home for the last 8 years in Berlin's Kreuzberg district. The reduced tempo and warm melancholic strings are an audible representation of looking through Watergate's glass walls out upon the river during the wee hours of a Saturday morning. Wrapping up the EP, is the after-hour anthem collaboration between Lee and Daniel Dreier, 'Lullaby'. The perfect track to hum on your Sunday morning stumble home.
